There are those who say that this is the team that
built the Fuller's Earth works with each worker sporting
a symbol of his trade. However, I don't know when the
factory was built, but Violet Cosh reports that it closed
about 1900. So if this was taken at the time it was built
then it must be an extremely old photograph. Another
reason for doubt is that the brickwork does not match
that of the factory which is constructed of brick laced
with limestone. A mystery.
