C1   This is the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria on 1 July 1897. Violet Cosh describes a procession and sheep roasting with humour. The notice on The New Inn tells us that beer was brewed on the premise at this time
       
C2   This wonderful crowd scene is on the occasion of the Coronation of King Edward the VII in 1902.
       
C3   I don't know what this celebration is. However, the clues are that William Cole's memorial is in place, which sets it after 1907, but the thatch is still on Weaver's Farm.
